Dale Leo LeDuc


Dale Leo LeDuc, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Cornell Health Services, in the company of loved ones, while under the care of Mayo Hospice.
Dale was born July 19, 1934, the son of Leo and Grace LeDuc, in the Town of Sigel.
He graduated from Cadott High School in 1953, and subsequently entered the U.S. Army, as a flash ranging artillery crewman.
After his tour in the Army, Dale married his sweetheart, Mary Barta, in November of 1957. They lived in various cities in Wisconsin, before settling down in rural Cadott, in 1967.
His careers were extensive, including truck driving, carpentry, machinist and farming. He spent 20 plus years, serving the local community as a volunteer EMT and lifelong member of the VFW.
Dale was most known for his selfless devotion to his family, storytelling, passions for hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife – Mary; brother – Arnold; daughters – Cindy (Brad) Borgerding, Debbie Anderson and Vicky LeDuc; son – Jay (Leanne) LeDuc; grandchildren – Joshua, Travis, Dustin, Kevin, Sarah, Shannon and Ryan; and great-grandchildren – Royce, Emma, Leo, Grace, Maci, Lillianna, Cayden and Arthur.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son – Michael; and son in-law – David Anderson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 20, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with Father William Felix officiating. Interment will be in the St. Rose Cemetery, Town of Sigel, with military honors conducted by the Cadott American Legion and VFW.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with praying the rosary at 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, and also one hour prior to the funeral Mass, Thursday morning, at the church.
