Phillip “Butch” Knauf

Phillip J. “Butch” Knauf Jr., 76, Marathon, died on February 28, 2025, while under the care of St. Croix Hospice at his home.

He was born on July 31,1948, in Wausau. A Funeral Mass will be held at noon this Thursday, March 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marathon, with the Rev. Monsignor Jospeh Diermeier presidng. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursay from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
