Ronald Schultz

Ronald David Schultz, age 73, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at Marshfield Hospital under Palliative Care.

Ron was born on December 15, 1951, to Arthur and Erma (Augustine) Schultz in Colby. Ron was raised on the family farm and graduated from Colby High School in 1970 and went on to earn his bachelor of science degree from UW-Stevens Point.

He had many employment opportunities during his lifetime. Some of these include working at AMPI, Norwood in Maintenance, Figis, Edgar Meat Packaging Plant and Fiskars.

Ron enjoyed playing cards, reading and was most passionate (and patient) in putting together jigsaw puzzles. There wasn’t a time that his kitchen table wasn’t adorned by his next project. He was always on the lookout for a new puzzle. He also enjoyed helping out on the family farm driving tractor whenever he could.

Ron is survived by his two brothers: Ken (Donna) Schultz of Venice, Fla., and Gary (Terri) Schultz of Stratford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Erma; brother, David, and sister, Carol.
