Gladys Rennie

Gladys I. Rennie, age 85, of Owen, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at The Waterford in Colby.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Gladys was born on October 5,1939, the daughter of Benedict and Alvina (Lee) Kropidlowski in Menasha. On February 23, 1963, she was united in marriage to William Rennie at Holy Family Catholic Church in Poniatowski. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2022.

Gladys worked at the grocery store in Withee, at a cheese factory and as a cook at Clark County Health Care Center. She enjoyed rummage sales, camping with her husband at Otter Lake and working around deer camp. Gladys was very sociable and friendly. She was also a wonderful, caring mother and devoted wife.

Gladys is survived by her two sons: Brian (Lori) Rennie and Todd (Nancy) Rennie; five granddaughters: Emily (Jacob) Galica, Kimberly, Jessica, Elizabeth (Rylan) and Samantha Rennie, and a great-granddaughter: Sophia Galica. She is further survived by her sister, Bonnie Totos; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Kenny and three sisters: Irene Bonin, Rita Matysik and Vickie Lemmer.
