She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Altar Society (PCCW), Curtiss Corners Quilt Club and Clovernook Homemakers. She also served as a Cub Scout den mother, CCD teacher, and Colby Library volunteer.

On August 6, 1958, Adelle married Lawrence Stettler at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage, residing in rural Abbotsford. She will be missed by her four children and their spouses: Vicky (Mark) Calmes of Colby, David (Ella) Stettler of Seymour, Julie (Kevin) Ellenbecker of Wausau and Kevin (Donna) Stettler of The Villages, Fla. She is survived by eight grandchildren: Tiffani (Mike) Roltgen of Fitchburg, Brittani (Eric) Mertens of Colby, Lyddia (Phillip) Marcott of Grafton, Ashley (Caleb) Zahl of Stanchfield, Minn., Emily (Alec) Hintz of Wausau, Bailey (Scott) Crowell of Wausau, Alex (Dawson) Stettler of Indianapolis, Ind., and Michael (Elizabeth) Stettler of Bloomington, Ind. A sister, Sharon (John) Pupp of Abbotsford, and many nieces and nephews also survive. Adelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Stettler in 2018, sister Elaine (George) Rueden and brother Kenneth (Bette) Schaefer.

Honored to be pallbearers are Kevin Stettler, David Stettler, Alex Stettler, Michael Stettler, Mark Calmes and Kevin Ellenbecker.
