Brenda Spath

Brenda Lenore Spath,67, lost her battle with cancer on Sept. 24, 2024. She was born in Gary, Ind., on June 19,1957.

Brenda grew up in Withee, the daughter of Emil and Shirley Rohland. After graduating high school, she and Lynn Spath were married. They moved to Stetsonville, later relocating to Medford. She enjoyed raising her two daughters: Tracy and Misty. Brenda also spent many years as a foster parent. Brenda and Lynn later divorced.

Brenda worked as a waitress and bartender for many years. She always enjoyed visiting with everyone she met. In her later years she worked at Abbyland. She moved to Abbotsford, where she lived with Terry (Wormdog) Wehrman. Terry was the love of her life. Brenda had many friends that cared and loved her. She always put other people first and her huge heart will surely be missed.

She is survived by her daughters: Tracy (Jason) Baker, Eaton, N.Y., and Misty (Marlon) Fruittrell, Atlanta, Ga.; her grandchildren: Gracie (John) Gibson, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Emma Baker, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Ethan and Evan Baker, Eaton, N.Y., Carson Fruittrell, Buford, Ga., and Ella Fruittrell, Alpharetta, Ga, and one great-granddaughter, Alice Gibson, Twentynine Palms, Calif. She ia also survived by her bonus daughter, Jessica Kilty, Medford, whom she treated as her own. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Terry (Wormdog) Wehrman, who loved and took care of her until her last breath. Survivors also include her sisters: Louise (Don) Luedke, Judy (Tony) Trento and Darcy (Robert) Ciszewski; brothers: Dennis (Helen) Rohland, Mel Rohland, Scott (Hope) Rohland and Jeff Rohland, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Emil Rohland, on April 22, 2015, and her mother, Shirley (Kuhs) Rohland on Dec. 27, 2018; brother-in-law, Ronald J (Judy) West on Dec. 17, 2003; her foster brother, Jerry, and many in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
