Patricia Mohan

Patricia J. Mohan, age 91, of Green Bay, formerly of Colby, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at her home under the tender care of Aseracare Hospice.

A Mass of Christian burial ws held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at Saint Mary Help of Christian Parish in Colby. Rev. Arockia Amirtha Raj Stanislaus presided. Interment followed at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends were welcomed from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Live stream was available for those unable to attend on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website.

Patricia was born on October 21, 1932, the daughter of William and Evelyn (Stanislawski) Geist in Cedar River, Mich. She graduated from Menominee High School and graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh. Patricia worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield for 30 years as a nurse. On August 29, 1953, she was united in marriage to Raymond Mohan. After retirement, Patricia and Raymond moved to Conover. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1999. In 2004, she moved to Green Bay to be closer to her family.

Patricia enjoyed crocheting, watching the TV shows “Monk” and “The Closer”, doing search a words, and watching all the wildlife that came into her yard. She was especially kind and generous. Most importantly, Patricia loved and cherished her family. Her favorite activity over the past few years was watching her great-grandchildren grow. Patricia is survived by her eight daughters: Kathleen Wall, Paula Mohan, Cynthia Rosenbrook, Teresa (Brian) Pinter, Suzanne (Kevin) Limberg, Carol (Dave) Mickelson, Lisa (Brian) Bach and Sandra Mohan; 18 grandchildren: Joe (Liz) Wall, Robert Wall, Christopher (Jacqueline) Wall, Alyson (Jeremiah) Gagner, Jason Rosenbrook, Keith Rosenbrook, Ashlie (Jim) Hall, Michelle (Andy) Rice, Johnie (Becky) Pinter, Brittanie (Ryan) Maes, Jenna Pinter, Jeanette (Kyle) Zdroik, Conrad Limberg, Katelyn (Ian Nelson) Mickelson, Elizabeth Mickelson, Raymond Bach, Josephine Bach and Ruben Bach; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Helen) Geist and Evelyn (Richard) Stanislawski; her husband; a brother, William Geist II and sisters: Philamin Geist and Annette Tanguay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Knights of Columbus or the Cancer Society.
