Faced with the challenge early in life, losing his mother at a young age of two his uncle and aunt, Joseph and Lucille Brost, played a significant role in his life during a challenging time when his father was faced with health issues. Their love and care provided a stable and nurturing environment for Dennis as he stayed with them until his father’s recovery. During this period, Dennis attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and Medford High School, where he formed lasting connections and memories. Dennis also found the love and support in his father’s later marriage to his stepmother, Lorraine.
