Travis Mickelson

The angels came down to earth and took one of the kindest souls back to heaven. Travis Dean Mickelson, 41, was born in Rochester, Minn., to his parents, Gerald Mickelson and Sharon Rose. Travis attended school in Colby and was a part of the 1998 Colby champion football team and FFA. He graduated in 2001 and then he attended WyoTech in Laramie, Wyo. There was nothing Travis treasured more than his family. He made every day special with his contagious excitement and energetic personality. His nieces and nephews were always excited for his signature $2.00 bills on holidays. Travis will deeply be missed by his parents, his sister, Lisa Mickelson, and Kayla (Allan) Wendt; his nieces and nephews: Dylan, Hailey, Vincent and Shiann and everyone who ever knew him. Travis was welcomed into heaven by Jesus, a nephew Landon, his step-father Dennis Rose, grandparents Melvin and Christine Mickelson, Cyrus and Lorene Shaw and a step-grandmother Sybil Shaw. Services will be determined at a later date.   Paid obituary 153980
