Zita L. Deinhamer

1933-2024

Zita L. Deinhamer, 90 of Gilman, died Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Aspirus Nursing and Rehab Center-Medford. She was born on Dec. 14, 1933 at the family home to the late Phillip and Cecelia (Timlin) Frese. Zita was raised in the area and later married Larry Deinhamer on Sept. 30, 1967 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Gilman.

Zita helped at Cecelia’s Tavern and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going shopping and watching Packer games.

She is survived by her mother-in-law, Addie Deinhamer; her sisters-in-law, Judy (Gerald) Warner, Patricia (Al) Meyer and Bonnie Warner all of Gilman; her nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and friends.

Zita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry; a brother, Theodore; a sister, Gerane Sikes; and father-in-law, Albert Deinhamer.

A funeral mass took place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church-Gilman with Father Vijay Kumar Madani officiating. Burial followed in Meadowbrook Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at church. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family. Memorials can be directed to Saints Peter & Paul building fund in Zita’s name.
