Kendrew David Zimmerman

Kendrew David Zimmerman, age 10 days, of Dorchester, son of Leland and Carolyn Zimmerman was born on Feb. 5, 2024 in Clark County, Wisconsin. He was born with Trisomy 13 and spent his first six days in the hospital. He then came home with oxygen and a feeding tube and was lovingly cared for and cuddled the remainder of his days.

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 at Popple Ridge Mennonite Church in Dorchester, Wisconsin. Kenneth Zimmerman, Jerry Brubaker, Michael Martin and Virgil Martin officiated. Burial was in the Popple Ridge Mennonite Cemetery in Dorchester, Wisconsin. Charles Zimmerman and Lynnford Oberholtzer served as pallbearers.

Visitation was from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024 at Green Grove Fellowship Center.

Kendrew is survived by his parents; his four siblings, Lyndon, Katrisha, Jevon and Charity of Dorchester; grandparents, Charles and Marilyn Zimmerman of Arbela, Mo. and Lynnford and Marlene Oberholtzer of Rutledge, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Sheldon Paul Zimmerman.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
