Sharon Kudingo

Sharon L. Kudingo, age 82, of Abbotsford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Colonial Health and Rehabilitation of Colby under the tender care of St. Croix Hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. The Rev. Don Bruce will preside. Family and friends are welcome from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the church. Burial will follow at Abbotsford Public Cemetery. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.

Sharon was born on June 20, 1941, the daughter of Andrew and Lillian (Rohde) Huff in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Melvin Kudingo on March 15, 1969, in Butler. Soon after, they moved to Abbotsford.

Sharon enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, reading and humor. She was a strong woman of faith and thoroughly enjoyed her friendships.

Sharon is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Melvin; her two daughters: Kelly Kesery of New Berlin and Deborah Kudingo of Pa.; several grandchildren including Kaitlyn (Kendall) Frank of Sun Prairie; several great-grandchildren including Charli Frank; her brother, James (Maria) Huff of Hartford; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
