Randal “Randy” W. Butler

Randal “Randy” W. Butler, 68, of the township of Hammel, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 at his home. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Randy was born on Oct. 14, 1955 to Wilfred and Caroline (Higgins) Butler in Medford. He attended Medford schools and graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1974. After school he worked at Weather Shield for a period of time. He then went into trucking where he worked for Beacon, Timberline, and most recently, Mike Williams. He retired in 2011.

Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, watching

the Packers and Badgers, and spending time with his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He was a sponge of knowledge and enjoyed sharing everything he learned with his nieces and nephews.

Randy is survived by his siblings, Patricia (LeRoy) Zittlow of Medford, Donna Hippe of Dorchester, Karen (Kevin) Moberg, Rebecca (Brad) Kalmon, Holly Butler, and Clinton (Debra) Butler, all of Medford; brother-inlaw, Floyd Jeans of Milwaukee; his dogs, Henry, Hazel, Alove, and Ruby Rose. Randy is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pamela Jeans; and brother-in-law, Robert Hippe.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Randy’s name may be given to the family for use at a later date.
