David Gordon Rodencal

Almighty God, who foreknew him before the creation of the heavens and the earth, place David Gordon Rodencal, born of Christian parents, on this earth on the 11th day of Dec., 1956. He was born again by Holy Baptism on the 30th day of Dec., 1956, and received the forgiveness of sins and membership into God’s family. He was kept in the faith by the Word and Sacraments by faithful servants of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod. It pleased the LORD to take David’s soul home on Jan. 20, 2024 to wait with the souls of all the other believers, where they wait for the Day of Judgement to be reunited with their bodies and stand in the presence of God forever.

1956-2024

A Memorial Service for David will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kenneth Bittorf officiating. Visitation will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

David is survived by his mother, Gretchen Rodencal of Fremont; siblings, Sharon (Robert) Heschke of Waupaca, Karen Rodencal of Fremont, Douglas (Lori) Rodencal of New London, Larry (Patti) Rodencal of Kaukauna, and Lori (Rob) Edelburg of Rib Lake. David is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Rodencal; sister, Barbara Rodencal; and aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in David’s name may be given to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
