Patricia (Patty) Ann Kauger

1977-2023

Patricia (Patty) Ann Kauger, 46, of Ogema, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at her home. A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 3 at Camp 28 at noon. There will be a private interment at Lakeview Cemetary in Rib Lake. Patty was born March 5, 1977, to Dorothy (Turba) Ulczycki and the late Larry Ulczycki. She attended Rib Lake schools. Upon high school graduation, she went to Silver Lake College, then Lake Shore Tech. She began working with children with special needs. She went to NTC in Wausau to learn sign language. After she got that degree, she worked for the Sheboygan School District as a sign language interpreter.

Before she moved back to Rib Lake, she studied horticulturists while working at Menards. After her return to Rib Lake, she worked for Lil JD’s where she met her fiance Levi Lukes. She worked for a while at Dollar General, then got a job (which she loved) working for the Medford School District as a Special Ed teacher and on weekends she worked at Camp 28.

She is survived by her fiance, Levi; mother, Dorothy; sister, Susan (Ezra) Kazee; niece, Deanna Kazee; and nephew, Dennis (DJ) Kazee; Levi’s parents, Frank and Nancy Lukes; his sister, Kasey; and her daughter, Noelle; special friends, Jonathon Resch and Jen Shore; many friends and family.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Larry Ulczycki; grandparents, Helen and Walter Ulczycki, Ray and Robie Turba; and a brother, Frank Joseph.
