Cynthia Bartnik
Cynthia “Cindy” M. Bartnik, age 63, of New London, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Green Bay, under the tender care of Unity Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Elizabeth Bier will preside. Family and friends are welcome on Friday, Aug. 4, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Cindy was born on March 4, 1960, the daughter of Lloyd and Carol (Fry) Duranceau. On June 30, 1990, she was united in marriage to Greg Bartnik in Oshkosh. Cindy worked as a car salesperson for many years. She enjoyed baking, riding in the UTV and especially loved being with her family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Greg of New London; three children: Jacob (Heather) Newton of Weyauwega, Melissa (Patrick) Carroll of Milwaukee and Stacy Bartnik (fiancée, Cody Stusser) of New London; eight grandchildren: Isaac and Nathan Newton, Shelby and Trevor Hoewisch, Rachelle Rast, Connor, Harper and Carson Carroll; two twin great-grandchildren: Alise and Addalyn Lerma. She is further survived by her five siblings: Jeff (Bernice) Duranceau of Fond du Lac, Annette (Doug) Blunt of Colby, Brian (Paula) Duranceau of Necedah, Lynne (Joseph) Larson of Wausau and Tori Knutson of Wausau; a brother-in-law, Ralph Bartnik; a sister-in-law, Ann (Kenny) Banasczak; two step-brothers-in-law, Tony and Mike Allman; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two daughters: Ariel Marie and Miranda Sue, and her brother, Andy Duranceau.
