Charles E. Little

1935-2023

Charles E. Little, 87, of Westboro, passed away on May 17, 2023. Cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Chuck was born on Nov. 15, 1935, in Jump River, to Charles S. and Sylvia (Kincaid) Little. He was a 1953 graduate of Beaver Dam High School and then served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army. On Nov. 2, 1957, Chuck married Carmelita Hanson. He then pursued a degree in landscape architecture at UW-Madison, graduating in 1963. Chuck worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation after graduation.

Chuck and Carmie settled in Horicon in 1966 where Chuck worked for his brother-in-law at Reetz Ready Mix. They made a career change in 1979 when they purchased The Little House Bar & Grill in Westboro. They served the Taylor County area for nearly 30 years.

Chuck is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Little, William (Wendy) Little, and Steven Little; his grandchildren, Angela Little, Jana (Tony) Warden, Jacob Little, Kiera (Jasper) Krueger; his greatgrandchildren, Regan Little, Eden Robinson, Madison Brown, Maiah Warden, Tessa Warden, Easton Warden, and Huxley Krueger; his brother-in-law, Arland Reetz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Carmie; his great-grandson, Gage Warden; his siblings, Robert, Joy, Ann, and Max; and his sister-inlaw, Bonnie Reetz.

Chuck’s family wishes to thank the staff at Rib Lake Health Services for their dedicated care over the past two years.
