Jeffrey A. Olson, 43, of Medford, formerly of Amherst and Rib Lake, died Saturday, April 1, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 10 at First Baptist Church in Medford with Revs. Grant Brown and Tim Becker officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may go to the substance abuse recovery program of your choice.

Jeffrey was born February 14, 1980 in Wauwatosa to James and Susan (McGrath) Olson. He graduated from Rib Lake High School class of 1998. He continued his education at UW-Marathon County, then UWStevens Point, graduating with a B.S. in Broadcasting.

On August 9, 2003, he married Sara Braund. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Alannah and Rhianna. Jeffrey and Sara later divorced, but remained good friends.

Jeffrey worked at AIG in Stevens Point for many years, then worked in customer service at various locations. He was an avid Wisconsin fan and loved cheering on the Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and Packers, and often had games going on more than one TV. He also enjoyed deer hunting, playing the drums, going for walks and playing video games. His most cherished time was spent with his daughters and attending and coaching their events.

He is survived by his daughters, Alannah and Rhianna; parents, Jim and Sue Olson; brother, Jason Olson; sister, Sarah (Matt) Rhody; ex-wife, Sara Olson; nieces, Elliott, Lillian and Evelyn Rhody; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry B. Olson and Dorothy B. Olson; maternal grandparents, Clifford J. and Mildred L. Mc-Grath; an infant brother, Phillip John Olson; aunt, Anne Leiskau; and uncle, Jim McGrath.
