Opal M. Bailey, 84, of Rib Lake, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2022 at Tomahawk Health Services. A memorial gathering will take place at the Rib Lake Senior Center on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Opal was born on May 5, 1938 to Frank and Evelyn Bailey in Rib Lake. Opal loved cats and dogs and was a people person. Her favorite dessert was Pepsi and a strawberry sundae from Dairy Queen. She always looked forward to Halloween and seeing the children’s costumes. She enjoyed listening to music.

Opal was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Opal’s name may be given to the Taylor County Humane Society.
