Linda Stoltenberg

Linda L. Stoltenberg, age 75, of Colby, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester. The Rev. Shawn Andersen will preside. Family and friends are welcome from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Colby is entrusted with the arrangements.

Linda was born on April 28, 1947, the daughter of Herbert and Irene (Dummer) Loging in La Crosse. She was united in marriage to Friedrich Stoltenberg, Jr. on March 19, 1977. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2004. Linda worked at Phillips Plastics in Medford.

Linda was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester and was a faithful member. She loved her church, enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, and tending to her flowers and crafts. Linda especially loved her grandchildren and was a huge part of their lives.

Linda is survived by two children: Friedrich Stoltenberg III of Medford and Katelynn Andreo of Abbotsford; five grandchildren: Kamia, Friedrich IV and Reven Stoltenberg, Citlali and Alan Eli Andreo; a brother, Lee Loging of Bloomington, Ill.; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Rodney Loging.
