Kenneth “Ken” E. Punke passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at the age of 73.
He was born in Wausau to John and Bernice Punke in 1949 and went to school in Stratford.
Ken worked on the family farm for years. After the family farm was sold, Ken worked for Wild Creek Dairy Farm for 13 years and later helped other farmers in the area. Ken loved all animals, especially dogs, cats and birds of every kind.
Ken is survived by siblings: Leonard Punke (Nancy), Dorothy Bauman, James Punke (Carol) and Elsie Punke, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Punke; and siblings: Hilbert Punke, Raymond Punke, Betty (Punke) Knetter and Elmer Punke (died in infancy).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
