Betty Lube

Betty A. Lube, age 74, of Owen, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 12, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Betty was born on October 22, 1947, the daughter of Cecil and Elsie (Weatherman) Crossland in Mountain Grove, Mo. She was united in marriage to Larry Dunston in 1963. They later divorced. Betty was united in marriage to Ken Lube in 1986. They later divorced.

Betty worked as a cook for a few restaurants and retired from Abby Café after 20 years as head cook. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching and going to the casino. Most importantly, Betty cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her six children: Larry (Georgeann) Dunston of Ava, Mo., Wanda King of Iowa, Connie (Randy) Revord of Thorp, Terri Borslien of Owen, Donna Much of Owen and Lisa (Jay) Matton of Turtle Lake; 11 grandchildren: Nathaniel, Billy, Stanley, Tanya, Kyle, Jessica, Logun, Allison, Skye, Breydan and Shaylee; two great-grandchildren: Bentley and Willow. She is further survived by her brother, Lewis (Shirley) Crossland of Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren: David and Jonathan, and her sister, Peggy.
