Robert Branstiter

Robert Lee Branstiter, 86, Port Orange, Fla., formerly of central Wisconsin, passed away at home, on Thursday, May 5, 2022, under hospice care, due to complications related to Parkinson’s Disease. A celebration of life will be held in Florida on July 9.

Robert was born on Sept. 21, 1935, in Verdel, Neb., to parents Lee and Zelma Branstiter, and was brought up on the family farm. He married his high school sweetheart, Ivagene “Jean” Ritter, on Aug. 13, 1957. They were the parents of three children. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1956-58. After the military, he became a businessman in Wisconsin until retiring in 2017. Robert and Jean then settled in Florida in 2017.
