Joanne Laabs

Joanne H. Laabs, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the age of 74, at Just Like Home Assisted Living in Colby.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran, 1131 Meridian, Curtiss. Paster Nancy Amacher will preside. A visitation will be held at the church, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Joanne was born March 31, 1947, in Wausau, to Albert and Alvina (Awe) Laabs. Joanne attended Owen-Withee Junior High School.

Joanne is survived by two brothers: Milton (Yoggi) Laabs of Gillett and Marlyn (Priscilla) Laabs of Marshfield; several nieces and nephew and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Alvina; and her siblings: Alton, Milton and her sister: Jeannette.

Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona, WI 54720 is assisting the family.
