Judy Koffarnus

Judy R. Koffarnus, age 72, of Colby, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford. Don Everhard presided. Family and friends were welcomed from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church. Burial was in the Dorchester Memorial North Cemetery. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.

Judy was born in Colby on August 1, 1949, the daughter of Oscar and Ruth (Scheibe) Koffarnus. She graduated from Colby High School. Judy never married. She worked at the Colonial Center in Colby as a CNA until her retirement.

Judy was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford of which she was a shepherd. She was involved with many community organizations in Colby and also did a lot of fundraising for different organizations. Judy enjoyed reading, listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.

Judy is survived by her sister, Cindy (Nels) Anderson of Abbotsford; one nephew and seven nieces; great-nephews and great-nieces; greatgreat- nephews and great-great-nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Virginia, and three brothers: Kenneth, Roger and Oscar, Jr.
