Rose Patrick

1919-2022

Rose Patrick, 102, of Rib Lake, passed away Wednesday, Apr. 13, 2022 after a long and very full life. Visitation will be Friday, Apr. 22 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake followed by a funeral service with Fr. Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Hope Hospice.

Rose was born July 3, 1919 in Chicago, Ill. to Maria Scola and Virgilio Storino. She grew up in Chicago with her five siblings. On Aug. 6, 1960 she married John ‘Pat’ Patrick in Rib Lake. They resided in Rib Lake where they owned and operated Patrick’s Shoe Store on Main Street until 1972.

Rose considered herself a simple country girl. She enjoyed gardening, walking, fishing, getting her hair done every week and visits with friends and family.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents. She was the beloved wife of the late John Patrick and dear sister of the late Frank, Peter and Louis Storino, Catherine Langford and Josephine Schaefer. She was a cherished aunt of numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Rose’s family would like to thank the many people who did a kind deed or offered her a helping hand throughout her life.
