rug 1983-2 022 Jennifer Annette (Jones) Krug, 38, Medford, was called home to her heavenly Father on Saturday, Apr. 16, 2022 following a devastating car accident.
Funeral services were held at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, Medford on Thursday, April 21. Visitation was at 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Pastor Amy Heinz from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church officiated. Jennifer was born on Sept. 20, 1983 in Chula Vista, Calif. to Stephen and Joanne Jones. She received her education and graduated from Hilltop High School in Chula Vista, Calif.
Jennifer was united in marriage on July 5, 2008 to Joshua Krug, who survives. They later divorced but have remained close friends for the sake of their two children, Andrew and Josephine, the light of both of their lives.
Throughout her school days she enjoyed playing softball. She was looking forward to seeing her daughter begin playing softball this summer.
Jennifer moved to Medford in the fall of 2004 where she worked in customer service/sales at Family Video, AT& T, Applebee’s, Associated Bank, Le-Vel Thrive and most recently at Kocourek Nissan, where she was their number one salesperson for the entire company in 2021.
Jennifer loved to cook and was excited to teach her daughter all she knew. Jennifer enjoyed sharing her meals with her family, friends, and co-workers. Jennifer was a loyal friend and enjoyed spending time with them and helping out whenever she could.
Jennifer was recently able to purchase her dream home, which was a personal accomplishment for her. Family time, especially Tuesday family night, with her children and father were very special to her. She was extremely proud of Andrew and Josephine and their many academic and athletic accomplishments.
Jennifer loved and is survived by her three sisters; Nichole (Shanna) Wyant, Ashley Carnes, and Jessie Carnes. They all loved Sisterpalooza picture time when she visited her family in Iowa.
In addition to her children, Andrew and Josephine, she is further survived by her father, Stephen Jones; mother and stepfather, Joanne and Ron Carnes; nephew, Jack Shipley; “bonus kids” (as Jenny called them), Jay Worden and Jared Houston Brown; in-laws, Barb Krug (Ed Rowe), Kevin (Laura) Sova, Kaci (Nick) Klemm, Sarah, Kenny and Dalton Krug and Christopher and Samantha Sova; uncles, Ray (Cathy) Dube, Jr, Dennis and Tommy Jones and aunts, Joann Schilling, Suzanne McGinnis, and Christine Jones.
Jennifer was preceded in death by grandmothers, Rolande Richer and Joyce Jones; grandfathers, Raymond Dube and Thomas Jones; aunts and uncles, Trina Knoer, Michael Jones and Timothy Jones.
Jenny was a beautiful person and an amazing friend, recognized by many for her inspiration and contagious positive attitude. She will be greatly missed and always remembered in our hearts.
