Robert John (Bob) Guziak

1947-2022

Robert J. (Bob) Guziak, 74, passed away in Long Beach, Calif. on Jan. 11, 2022 from complications associated with a stroke. There will be a graveside memorial service on May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the family plot at Medford’s Holy Rosary cemetery. It will immediately be followed by lunch and a celebration of Bob’s life at the Medford VFW Hall.

A former Medford resident, Bob was the eldest of 10 children born to John A. and Elaine (Lindow) Guziak.

Bob graduated from Medford High School in 1965. In 1969, Bob graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere. He was then employed in advertising in Green Bay until eventually relocating to southern California.

Bob was a talented composer and musician, a devout Catholic, and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Bob was beloved by his numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob is survived by siblings Joanne (Joe) Grassa of Plymouth, Mass., James (Cindy) Guziak of Anaheim, Calif., Kay (Guziak) Jackson and Linda Guziak of Braintree, Mass., John (Valerie) Guziak of Los Angeles, Calif., Sue (Tom) Gaber of Rhinelander, and Paul (Barb) Guziak of Coto De Caza, Calif.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William and his sister, Julienne (Guziak) Verbrick.
