Mary C. Gallick

1923-2022

Mary C. Gallick, 98, Gilman, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Jan. 2, 2022, in her home with her family and Hospice at her side. Due to the high rate of Covid infections, a celebration of life will be held at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Gilman in the spring or summer, 2022. Mary Mesiar was born Sept. 16, 1923, and married Peter Gallick on Sept. 28, 1944. Peter preceded her in death in 2019, at the age of 99. For many years they owned and operated a dairy farm near Gilman and together raised their six children. She truly loved her family and friends and will be sorely missed. She was very involved with the church and community, enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

She is survived by their four daughters, Dianne (Chuck), Carol, Peggy (Ray), Bonnie (Lonnie); and two sons, Joe (Marlene) and Jerry Gallick; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and greatgreat grandchildren; in addition to many nieces; and nephews.

The family wishes to thank St. Joseph Hospice in Chippewa Falls, especially MaryLee, John and Beth for their loving care of Mary, Dr. Victoria Vande Zande at Preva, and My Choice Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers or donations of money, her family requests that you give to your favorite charity or organization that helps people or animals in need.
