Diane Freimund

Diane L. Freimund, age 38, of Milan, passed away Dec. 30, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The Rev.

Frank Geibel will preside.

Interment to follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Family and friends can watch the service live on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website. Family requires those in attendance to wear a mask.

Diane was born on Aug. 7, 1983, in Marshfield, the daughter of Danny and Dorean (Petznick) Freimund. She was a 2002 graduate from Abbotsford High School. Diane worked at Marathon Cheese as a line worker. Most importantly, Diane cherished her family and especially her niece and nephew, Lydia and Kolton.

Diane loved playing games and collecting mustangs, her favorite was the white mustang.

Diane is survived by her mom, Dorean; two sisters: Dawn (Travis) Faber of Merrill and Dee Freimund of Milan; a niece, Lydia Faber; a nephew, Kolton Faber; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Danny (March 2020) and grandparents.
