Michael Joseph Hraby

1958-2021

Michael Joseph Hraby, 63, of Medford, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. Friends and family are invited to a public visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at the Community United Church of Christ in Medford with Pastor Terry Hanson officiating. A private family service will follow with interment in Medford Evergreen II Cemetery.

He was born June 2, 1958 in Marshfield to Joseph and Marcella (Tilch) Hraby. He graduated from Medford High School, class of 1976.

On Oct. 12, 1985, Michael married Linda Steevens. They resided in Medford where Michael worked as a lineman for TDS until his retirement.

Michael was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood, and camping. He also loved watching football and cheering on his favorite team, the Packers.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his mother, Marcella Hraby of Medford; two sons, Justin (Brenda) Hraby of Medford, Craig (Andrea) Kawa of Owen; siblings, Alan (Peggy) Hraby, Barbara (Don) Grant, all of Medford; and six grandchildren, Tanner, Rylee and Laney Hraby, Zachary, Alicia and Logan Kawa.
