Lori Larson

Lori L. Larson, 60, Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, with her family by her side. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Lori Lee Schnabel was born on Sept. 2, 1961, in Marshfi eld, the daughter of Wayne C. and Mary M. (nee Wolf) Rasmussen. She was raised in Greenwood, graduated from Greenwood High School in 1979, and held various jobs in the area until her marriage to Jerry Verhulst in 1984. They later divorced. In 1996, she was united in marriage to David Larson of Greenwood. Lori loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed music, scrapbooking, making candles, playing cards, baking, and raising flowers.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Nikki (Jennifer) Verhulst of Medford, and Tylor Larson of Greenwood; her special friend, Rick Kratz of Greenwood; her parents, Roy and Mary Rasmussen of Greenwood; three sisters: Cheryl (Mike) Kitzhaber of Greenwood, Dawn (Rick) Suda of Greenwood, and Cheri Jacobson of Spring Green; one brother, Shane (Cindy) Rasmussen of Greenwood; one sister-in-law: Diane Eady of Eau Claire; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents: Frank and Mildred Wolf, Clarence and Ella Schnabel, and Walter and Julia Rasmussen; her father, Wayne Schnabel; one brother, Jeff Schnabel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
