Jane A. Paulson

1947-2020

Jane Alice Paulson, 73, of Oceanside, Calif, passed away Sept. 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by family members and under the care of Hospice.

Jane was born May 22, 1947 in Stetsonville to Ann (White) and Raymond Paulson. She attended Stetsonville elementary school and graduated from Medford High School. She received her Masters degree in education in 1986 from National University in Vista, Calif. She taught in the Oceanside Unified School District until her retirement in 2012. Prior to her teaching career, she worked for the North County Times newspaper in Oceanside.

Jane is survived by siblings, Peggy Kyes of Carlsbad, Calif., Sam Paulson (Joyce) of Fallon, Nev., Joan McElligott, Chili, N.Y., Judy Peck of Oceanside, Calif., Peter Paulson of Stetsonville, Kris Zuleger (Ron) of Stetsonville, and Cindy Paulson of Stetsonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Leanne Peterson; brother, Kevin Paulson; and brothers-in-law Lloyd Kyes and Charles Peck; and sister-in-law Tina Paulson.

There will be a graveside memorial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Black at 1 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at the A& E Tavern following the service.
