Gene A. Lucia, 67, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021 at the Westboro Community Center from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Gene was born Dec. 15, 1953 to Jack and Vienna (Mackey) Lucia. He attended Rib Lake High School.

Gene is survived by cousin, Patti Jo Lamberty of Whittlesey; special friend, Kathy Brecht; uncle, Bob Lucia of Westboro; Mike Lucia and his children, Damian, Gunner, and Keesha.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Lucia; cousins, Alyce Schuppel and Robert Lucia, Jr.; step-brothers, Keith and Kenny Kinner.

Following high school, Gene worked for Weathershield, Graebel Van Lines, and as a logger.
