lson 1939-2021

Doredda A. Olson of Chelsea passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Rib Lake Health Services. A celebration of life will take place at the Ice Age Pavillion in Rib Lake on Aug. 21 from 11am-3pm.

Doredda was born on Sept. 27, 1939 to Lester and Lorraine Peterson of Westboro. She married LeRoy Olson on Nov. 5, 1960. They resided in Chelsea where she was a homemaker. Doredda enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, reading, the Brewers, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Doredda had 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy; children Mark (Melanie), David (Lori Voda), John (Sherrie), Sue (Tim Loucks), Wendy (Rob VanLuven), and Mike (Savannah Fuchs); sisters Myrtha Justice, Joan (Roy) Plemmons, Mary (Greg Wagenknecht) Candy (Dan Zutavern); brothers Edward (Joyce) Peterson, and Richard Peterson.

Doredda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Tom Peterson; sisters Jean Anderson and Carol Peterson; a daughter Sandy Brandner; a son Timothy Olson; and a grandson Matt Olson.
