Donna Scidmore

Donna Rae Scidmore, age 81, of Colby, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, at Colby Retirement Center with her family by her side under the tender of St. Croix Hospice.

Donna was born on May 27, 1939, the daughter of Harry and Viola (Leonard) Untiedt, Sr. in Curtiss. She attended Atwood School and graduated from Colby High School.

Donna was the bookkeeper for several banks in Illinois and Wisconsin and the co-owner of Scidmore Jewelry in Medford. She loved gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Robin (Jeff) Erickson of Saukville; two grandchildren: Jason (Melissa) Erickson and Heather Burmesch. She is further survived by her five sisters and one brother: Joan Petrykowski, Harry Untiedt, Jr., Karen (Barry) Dorazio, Geraldine (Paul) Heinz and Beverly Untiedt; a sister-in-law, Olga Untiedt; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers: Evelyn (Clem) Arend, John Untiedt, Jerry Untiedt, Lynn Untiedt, Eugene Untiedt and Patricia Untiedt; a brother-in-law, Tom Petrykowski, and a sister-in-law, Pat Untiedt.

A memorial Mass will be held in the spring at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Colby.
