Terry Lee Pugesek, 50, of Marion, Iowa, formerly of Medford, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at the Veterans’ Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation was held on Jan. 29 with the funeral service on Jan. 30 at the Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion, Iowa. Military honors were accorded. A celebration of life in Medford will be held at a later date.

Terry was born Feb. 3, 1970 in Medford to Lowell and Marjorie “Midge” (Dahl) Pugesek. He attended Medford Area Schools and was a 1988 graduate of Medford Senior High School. Terry served in the United States Marine Corps and attended DeVry University in Los Angeles and Chicago. On Nov. 2, 1996, he married Deborah Wygant and they later divorced. On Apr. 26, 2008, he married Robin Horak.

Terry is survived by his wife, Robin Pugesek; three sons, Tim Wygant (Jailene Torres) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Justin Pugesek of Tucson, Ariz. and Jacob Pugesek of Marion; a daughter, Olivia Pugesek of Marion; and by three grandchildren, Jariel and Joanelis Rivera and Roselynn Wygant of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by his parents, Jim and Midge Nehiba and Lowell Pugesek of Medford; brother, Troy Pugesek, also of Medford; his parents-in-law, George and Lora Horak of Olin, Iowa and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
