Bernice Fink
Bernice A. Fink, age 85, of Woodruff, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at Howard Young Medical Center. Bernice was born on August 14, 1935, the daughter of Gerhardt and Pauline (nee Greenburg) Hahn. Bernice married Raymond O. Fink on August 6, 1955.
Bernice was active with the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Catholic Women’s Club for many years. She enjoyed playing horseshoes, baking, traveling with the motor home, snowmobiling, fishing and keeping up her large yard, mowing and ranking with the help of her grandsons and was an organizer of the Our Lady Queen of the Universe Summerfest for many years.
She is survived by her sons: Karl (Sally) Fink, Michael (Heidi) Fink and James (Racqual) Fink; grandchildren: Brian (Jordyn) Fink, Andy Fink and Davey Fink; two brothers-in-law: Joe Peters and Dave Perlock; nieces: Sue (Peters) Dietsche, Cheryl (Peters) Pelzek, Sue (Fink) Belter, Patti (Fink) Knab and Nancy (Fink) Ewan; nephews: Ed Fink and John Fink.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O. Fink; parents: Gerhardt and Pauline (nee Greenburg) Hahn; brothers: Ray Hahn and Jerry Hahn; sisters: Shirley (Hahn) Thieme, Leona (Hahn) Perlock and Bonnie (Hahn) Peters; and nephew, Dennis Fink.
Visitation will take place on Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, followed by burial at Forest Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Holy Family Catholic Church.
