Naomi Polito, 92, of Medford, passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020 at her residence under the loving care of family and Hope Hospice. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial will be

held at a later date. Naomi was born on Feb. 13, 1928 in Chicago, Ill. to John and Caroline (Bessemer) Walter. She received her education in Palatine, Ill. She married Howard Listhartke, they were later divorced. She then married Philip Polito and he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed, decorating her home, baking, cooking, candy making, jelly canning, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and crafting in her free time. She had full time jobs starting at Nielson Bakery, Briggs, Ball Glass, Little City, Handy Capable, and Kmart. She especially enjoyed her family, family gatherings, and friends and loved the Lord Jesus dearly.

Naomi is survived by her children, Suzanne (Peter) Devoty, Karen Gadbury, and James (Robin) Listhartke; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Miriam Hotovy and Barbara Meyer.

In addition to her husband and parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her son, Michael Listhartke; granddaughter, Amie Hoffman; siblings, Ezia (Helen) Walter, John (Alice) Walter, Hannah (Richard) Helland, and Esther (James) Hodges.
