Edward ‘Ed’ Webster Edward ‘Ed’ Webster

Edward was born on Oct. 12, 1972, in Manila, Philippines. He contracted polio at a young age and because his mother was unable to care for him he was placed in an orphanage and later adopted by Ronald and Pauline (nee Canfield) Webster of Granton. Edward graduated from Granton High School in 1992 and went on to college at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science and biology. He worked in the pharmacy industry and with prosthetic patients for several years before returning to school to pursue his nursing degree. He later began his nursing career in a nursing home and returned to school where he earned his LPN license and was currently still pursuing a degree as an RN. He was employed by Southpointe Healthcare and Rehab at the time of his death, as an LPN. Edward was passionate about caring for the residents and was much loved by his co-workers. Edward met and married his wife Christy Evans Webster and he gained two sons, Dylan and Ryan Beddingfield. They later had a daughter, Dannie Grace, who was his “little princess.” He was a devoted husband and father. Edward was a determined man who always strove to improve his circumstances in any way that he was able. He loved politics, fishing, and spending time at the ocean with his family. He had a passion for Christian outreach, and especially enjoyed doting on his beloved daughter. He was a strong Christian and a devoted member of Rocky Creek Baptist church in Greenville, S.C., and had complete faith that if God should decide to take him home, he was ready to go. Edward will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Edward is survived by his wife, Christy, and daughter, Dannie Grace Rebecca Webster, at home; sons Dylan and Ryan of Greenville, S.C.; his parents, Ronald and Pauline (Canfield) Webster of Granton; his sisters, Amber and Scott Barnes of Becker, Minn., Grace Lee of Chippewa Falls; Maylee and Marc Peck of Granton, and Alice Painter of Granton; a brother, Jae Webster of Minneapolis, Minn.; his dog, Harley; and many nieces and nephews.
