Robert Arndt

Robert R. Arndt, 65, Spencer, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at his residence. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., on Saturday, July 18, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Robert was born on Aug. 17, 1954, the son of Alfred and Bertha (nee Oates) Arndt, in Stanley. Robert worked for Land O’ Lakes for more than 30 years. He married Diane Roytek on Sept. 29, 1979. They were later divorced. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed talking with people. But his greatest love was his family, especially his grandson.

Robert is survived by his son, Micheal (Mary) Arndt of Athens; his grandson, Browning; his siblings: Allen (Janice) Arndt, Diane Anderson, Donald Arndt, Terry (Cathy) Arndt, Larry (Jan) Arndt, David (Terri) Arndt, Judy (Jack) Oliver and Linda Arndt (Kevin); his best friend, Ron Kromanaker; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Hunter (10/9/2003-11/18/2003); a nephew, John Arndt; and a brother, Carl Arndt.
