Helen K. Zajac

1932-2020

Helen Katherine Zajac, 88, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, June 20, 2020. A burial will be held in Montana at a later date.

Helen was born on March 22, 1932 in the township of Roosevelt to the late Doman and Anna (Wienclaw) Kostick. She met the love of her life, Ed Zajac, and were married on Oct. 24, 1953 in the Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. They celebrated 54 years of marriage until Ed’s passing on July 16, 2007. Helen was a farmer’s wife, running the home as well as helping Ed on their Wisconsin dairy farm. Her hobbies included gardening, fishing and hunting. In May of 1978 Helen and Ed retired and moved to Hamilton, Mont., where they lived their dreams. In 2017, Helen moved to Oklahoma to be with her daughter and sonin- law.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Helen leaves many loving memories with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Katie (Jeff) Arneson of Catossa, Okla.; son, Eddie (Gwen) Zajac of Medford; grandsons, Aaron (Kristen) Arneson, Nick Zajac; granddaughter, Denise (Scott) Fleischman; and great-grandson, Blake Fleischman, and many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
