Luicella A. Goerg

1929-2020

Luicella A. Goerg, 90, of Medford, died on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Aspirus Care and Rehab, where she had resided for the past seven years. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family only graveside burial and committal service will take place at a later date at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Luicella was born on Dec. 4, 1929 in Medford to John and Kunda (Heier) Goerg. She attended Medford area elementary schools and was a graduate of Medford High School. After her education, she moved to Milwaukee and worked there as a typist and policy writer for a title insurance company until her retirement. She moved back to Medford in 2010. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.

Luicella is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Luicella was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Lawrence (Evelyn), Delmar (Dolores) and Herbert (Rita) Goerg, all of Medford.

Her family would like to give thanks to the staff at Aspirus Care and Rehab, Country Gardens and her volunteer, Kathy, for their compassionate care.

Memorials in her name are preferred to Three Holy Women Parish, 1716 N. Humboldt Ave., Milwaukee, WI, 53202.
