Bernice C. Enyeart

1931-2020

Bernice C. Enyeart, 89, of Huntington, Ind., died on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Heritage Point of Huntington. Private family services will be held at Bailey-Love Mortuary in Huntington with Bill Rapp officiating. Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.

Bernice was born on March 2, 1931 in Medford, the daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Thomsen) Klemm but was raised by her foster parents, Walter and Edith Calvert. She graduated from Union Township High School in 1948 and married Russell “Max” Enyeart on June 11, 1950 in Huntington. Bernice was a bookkeeper for the family business, Enyeart Construction, where she worked for 50 years. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Huntington and was a nationally known quilter.

Bernice is survived by her son John D. (Debra) Enyeart of Huntington; a grandson, Daniel M. Enyeart; and great-grandchildren, Ayden Enyeart, Jack Enyeart and Morgan Enyeart.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents and husband.
