John E. Reichert

1943-2020

John E. Reichert, 76, of Medford, formerly of Yorkville, Ill., passed away peacefully on Jan. 9, 2020 at Mayo Health Clinic in La Crosse. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at the VFW Post No. 5729, 240 S. 8th Street, Medford. Full military honors will be performed to honor John’s service in the Army. John was born on July 24, 1943 to Fabian and Marion (Leigh) Reichert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John’s memory to Taylor County Humane Society, 819 S. Gibson Street, Medford, WI 54451 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
