The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Jak R. Weir a.k.a. Jak Robert Weir, 24, Medford, carrying a concealed weapon; Corey A. Paczkowski, 28, Medford, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer; Nicole M. Jacobsen, 18, Medford, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia; Richard W. Noziska, 24, Westboro, disorderly conduct; Nicolas J. Sperl a.k.a. Nick Sperl, 28, Dorchester, second degree sexual assault-use of force.
Dakotta L. Euclide, 19, Medford, pled no contest to improper parking or standing of a vehicle and forfeited $144.50.
Ethan B. Peterson, 17, Medford, pled no contest to operating while suspended and forfeited $200.50.
A separate charge of inattentive driving against Peterson was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Taylor A. Grenkie, 26, Fremont, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 1-10 mph over the limit and forfeited $175.30.
Brock N. Hoernke, 37, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct.
Paula M. Karwoski, 46, Viroqua, pled no contest to resisting or obstructing an officer and forfeited $443. A count of theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500 was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Malisia A. Marek, 51, Rib Lake, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct.
Damien T. Pehler-Isakson, 28, Fountain City, pled guilty to operating while revoked and forfeited $443.
A separate charge of non-registration of vehicle against Pehler-Isakson was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Hailee D. Resa, 17, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.
Douglas J. Roth, 27, Titonka, Iowa, pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of THC. The original charge had been possession of THC-second or greater offense. Roth was sentenced to serve five days in jail, pay a forfeiture of $443 and submit to a DNA sample. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
Joel M. Sanders, 37, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been battery.
Andrea V. Smith, 24, Owen, pled no contest to operating while suspended and forfeited $200.50.
Smith also pled pled no contest to a separate charge of speeding 11-15 mph over the limit and forfeited $175.30.
Michael F. Murphy, 33, Ogema, pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of methamphetamine. The original charge had been manufacture/delivery of amphetamine less than or equal to three grams. Sentence was withheld and Murphy was place on probation for three years on the condition he serve four months in jail; pay a forfeiture of $518 and supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections (DOC); submit to a DNA sample; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; obtain/maintain full-time employment or enrollment in schooling; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment at the probationary agent’s discretion.
Murphy also pled no contest to possession of methamphetamine (repeater). Sentence was withheld and Murphy was placed on probation for three years on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $518 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; have no contact with the victim; and write a letter of apology, pre-approved by probation, the victim within 30 days of plea and sentencing. The rest of the conditions as the same as for his other probation. Counts of theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500 (attempt) (repeater) and felony bail jumping (repeater) were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
A separate charge of operating while revoked-third forfeiture against Murphy was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
