Hornets hit the mark at Gilman tournament

The Cadott archers were in fine form, Feb. 1, as they were in competition in Gilman, coming away with first place out of 10 teams, with an overall score of 3,319.

"I would like to see our team score improve within the next few tournaments," said coach Scott Christenson. "Our goal would be to hit 3,400 points by the State tour - nament." Taking the top spot individually, was junior Logan LaNou, with a score of 285, followed by sophomore Gabe Dohms, with 283. Juniors Zakary Hladilek and Anthony Glenz came next, each with a score of 279, while senior Brooklyn Hrdlicka and sophomore Landon Starck each had 278.

Junior Dani Sikora followed that up with 276, with sophomore Payton Pederson and junior Alexa Gindt right behind, with 275. Junior Olive LaRose shot for a score of 274, with junior Gavin Roscoe scoring 273, followed by eighth grader Mathew Koer, with 272. Freshman Cart - er Slagle also had a score of 272, with junior Abi Bowe coming next, for a score of 270.

Sophomore Garrett Engel scored 269, while eighth grader Keirsten Evanson had 268, as did juniors Gracy Dahm and Myka McCullough, with senior Logan Wand shooting for 267. Junior Gabe Sikora followed with a score of 265, with freshman Lucas Bourget shooting 264 and senior Danika Holler with 262.

"It was nice to see two of our archers, Logan LaNou and Gabe Dohms on the podium this week," said Chris - tenson. "I am also proud of the archers who shot their personal best."
