Letter to the Editor
Letter to the Editor:
I am writing this letter for anyone who is planning their estate. Please make sure that you put a lot of thought into who you would like as your Power of Health and your Power of Attorney, especially if you don’t have any children.
As people get older, sometimes they become too trusting and can end up in a situation that they did not think they would be in.
The Power of Attorney and Power of Health can have complete control over your money, property, health, where you live, even who you may see in some instances and literally, the clothes on your back.
Remember that you have worked hard and saved for your “golden years,” and you deserve to have your wishes honored. Discuss your wishes for your future with your spouse, friends and family, so it is widely known how you want your later years to be.
Put it in writing, so that you do not end up with a life that does not make you happy. Be wise to manipulative people.
Connie Larson,
Boyd
