Two counts of possession of an illegal size fish (as a party to a crime) against Melanie D. Annala, 41, Colby, were dismissed on prosecutor’s motions.
A charge of worthless checks against Scott H, Strassburger, 46, Dorchester, was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Glenn F. Oleson, 71, Rib Lake, appeared in court and entered a plea of not guilty to violating a harassment restraining injunction order.
Aaron D. Gruel, 42, Medford, pled no contest to contact after domestic abuse arrest and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. As terms of the agreement, Gruel must not commit any criminal offenses during the period of the agreement; notify the Taylor County district attorney and clerk of court offices of any address change within 10 days; comply with all of the terms of bond, which continues to remain in effect during the period of the agreement; write a letter of apology, pre-approved by the Taylor County victim witness coordinator, to the victim; continue to engage in counseling with a provider of his choice and provide proof of attendance to the district attorney’s offi ce; and complete 20 hours of uncompensated community service pre-approved by the district attorney’s offi ce and provide proof of completion to said office. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the case.
Anthony J. Annala, 42, Colby, pled no contest to possession of an illegal size fish (as a party to a crime) and forfeited $222.50.
Annala pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of an illegal size fish. He forfeited $222.90 and his DNR privileges were revoked/suspended for one year. The original charge had been possession of any fish in excess of total daily bag limit.
Annala also pled no contest to a second charge of possession of an illegal size fish (as a party to a crime) and forfeited $275.40.
Aaron D. Gruel, 42, Medford, pled no contest to disorderly conduct-domestic abuse and forfeited $363.50.
Maxwell J. Krueger, 31, Westboro, pled no contest to possession of any fish in excess of total daily bag limit (as a party to a crime). He forfeited $807 and his DNR privileges were revoked/suspended for one year.
Kruger also pled no contest to possession of an illegal size fish (as a party to a crime) and forfeited $222.90.
Taylor County Circuit Court
Tim P. Leonard, 54, Stanley, pled no contest to an amended charge of harassment and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been computer message-threaten obscenity.
Alexander D. Matyka, 27, Rib Lake, pled no contest to an amended charge of hunting/trapping without a valid carcass tag in possession. Matyka forfeited $217; his DNR privileges were revoked/suspended for three years; and he is to surrender the firearm used in the incident to the DNR within 10 days.
Christine M. Poppe, 61, Thorp, pled no contest to a dog license violation and forfeited $169.
A separate charge of mistreatment of animals against Poppe was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Lana R. Reed, 49, Land O Lakes, pled no contest to inattentive driving and forfeited $187.90.
A separate charge of failure to keep vehicle under control against Reed was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Tracy F. Gabryel, 56, Gilman, pled no contest to neglecting a child (specified harm to did not occur). Sentence was withheld and Gabryel was placed on probation for 18 months on the condition he pay a forfeiture of
