Arthur “Buster” Meeks

1955-2020

Arthur “Buster” Meeks, 65, of Rib Lake passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020 while camping in Isabella, Minn. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 29 at Isabella Community Center.

Buster was born at Sawbill Landing, Minn,. to Corbett and Rayburn (Reynolds) Meeks on Jan. 26, 1955. He grew up in Isabella, Minn. He worked as a logger with his father and his brothers. He also worked as a telephone cable splicer for 30 years. For the last eight years he was able to be caregiver for his son, Tanner. He was Tanner’s best friend. Buster loved to spend time with his family and friends on camping, fishing, hunting trips, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and most of all telling stories.

Buster is survived by his wife, Becky; sons, Chuck, Faron, Tanner and Brandon; daughter Bailey; grandchildren, Ty, Morgan and Brice; siblings, Darlene, Bev, Jerry, Sam, Faron and Tammy; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Corbett and Rayburn Meeks; his siblings, Sharon, Corby, Kristine, Marlea, Chucky, Randy, Jim, Tom and Buck.
